Linking Part 2: Building your Reputation as an Authority on your niche.
Hello Ep’ers! It’s Monday. Thank God. Are you ready to earn income using your internet connection? Well the fact that you are reading this, means you are.
As mentioned, today I will tackle part 2 of building links. How do you build your links? Where do you build your links? Some of the answers I gave in part 1 of link building are very important as you go deep into link building. Always bear in mind, you are not simply builing your links, you are building people, forming your peers, creating your core group. Work for them, not for the search engines or rankings.
1. Start with directories.
2. Build your community by going to blogs and forums of the similar niche. Post your comments and start building your reputation.
Here is for today:
3. Write an article about your niche and submit them to Article Directories, and Niche directories.
There are tens of Article submission websites on the internet. I have listed the Top 10 article submission websites base on Alexa Page Rank. It will be well worth it to go and read the article. Not only read but really use that as a tool for you.
There are a couple of things I need to mention about article writing which I will also write a full one. But for the sake of this article I will share 2.
a. Consider expanding your article title to a max of 100 characters. Evidence suggests that longer article titles produce more views per article vs. short article titles.
b. Longer article titles increases your posts reprinting rate and value. The more specialized the reprint website and the more qualified the visitor/reader. This results in a greater referral rate of traffic to your website.
Not only can you use article Submission site, you may also do guest blogging. Guest blogging simply means, you serving as a guest blogger in another’s blog. This technique serves both ways. You as a guest blogger get to post your writing skills, and the site owner gets to have uniques content on his site, plus a new kind of style of writing. This benefits both party as well as the readers.
4. Use email list, blog comments, and social media profile pages. This is a very important venue for link building. I often get traffic from social medias suchs as twitter and facebook. I think these two are the most powerful right now. Especially facebook with it’s user interface. You can create a group for your kind of blog and post your updates over there. Let the community know what you are blogging. Invite users to your group. As you become an authority within your particular niche, people will naturally build link to you. Your popularity will soar along with your reputation. This is a natural process. This cannot be done with a magic in your hand. This is what I called building people.
By approaching link building this way, and identifying where the best links is going to come from among the millions and almost a billion pages, you can strategize the most value for your links, spend your resources in the most effecient way with a definite target in mind. This is a systematic building of links. This is not trial and error.
Build your link with people in mind. Create value and offer value. The more valuable and unique is your offer, the more valuable is your link, and the more people will want to link to you.
See you all next time. For quick update delivered to you, subscribe to our newsletter to the right of this page or our RSS.
