Recently, yahoo.com released an article on the foremost reason why wealthy people in America are, well, wealthy. It was surprising to see that, at first reading, I was expecting something that I and the rest of the world expect these people to say.

Of the top 10 wealthiest in America, 6 are self made. In my heart of hearts I exclaimed! Whoa! For I really thought, the figure could be farther down. And of the top 400 titans on the list, 274 have risen from a nothing to where they are.

Family fortune was not the reason for these men nor inheritance their ticket to billions and a life of affluence.

Their One Clear Reason was Entrepreneurship.

If you want to get serious money, start a business. Sell something. One of those interviewed, R.J. Kirk of Biotech said, “One job that every person have to at least once in their life is to SELL.”

Sell something on the floor, experience the job working on pure commission with all the competition surrounding you. Compete with people who do their very best to out wit the other.

Majority of people in the world from all races go after jobs that pay them on a monthly salary basis. But these 8-5 jobs will bring you anywhere. That is why they are the majority, and they are as well, not wealthy. They may have the seemingly secured kind of job, what with a paycheck waiting for you at the end of the month. But they will not have the kind of impact that an entrepreneur have on a certain economy. One who can create jobs for others and making money so that others are also able to make money.

Starting a business is one of the best decisions of my life. It was the wisest thing I have ever come up with, well, second to fearing God. But the thing is earning money on your own at home is the best situation one could possibly have.

There are a variety of reasons why anyone should do it:
1. You are the boss.
2. You control your work hours. Making money at home online doesn’t require you to be at an office at a certain designated time.
3. You control your productivity. You work long hours, you earn more dollars.
4. You become the movers of economy. Now this one should never be forgotten. I should have put this number 1, but for the sake of this article I place it here. Being at the head rather than the tail is the best position any person on earth will always trade places for. A businessman defines economy. The more businesses there are, the more vibrant is the economy, and more jobs are available. More jobs, more wealth. Get it?
5. You help shape the mindset of the future generation. Those who will come after you, your children and younger generation will have something they can turn to and model after. Now, isn’t that thrilling to imagine?

Have you decided yet on starting your own business online? Well, do not take so long to make up your mind. I know you have dreamed of starting something. A blog like this one or article writing, or creating website for others, or medical transcription, anything that you can do and love to do. Sell your product online. Earn serious money on the internet. The playing field is so wide open that anybody can be a player.

The difference between a dream and a goal is that, a goal is a dream that has a timeline. A dream will remain a dream until you turn it into a goal. I have friends who 3 years ago said they would really really love to start, but until now still they haven’t.
