In its continuing drive to get new advertisers, Sponsored Tweets has released a Firefox extension that allow you to quickly identify and hire Tweeter that are in the Sponsored Tweets system. The extension is an entry into the $7,500 Holiday API Challenge. The Firefox entry was submitted by @Dascgo, who can’t win the challenge because he’s a Sponsored Tweets employee. Still, he thought it would be fun to participate. You can download the extension here.

I’m sure there’ll be more cool uses for the Sponsored Twets API as more programmers enter the challenge. If they’re anything as creative as this Firefox extension, Sponsored Tweets is going to have no problem maintaining their number 1 spot at the top of the paid tweet train. As a Twitter user, this means more money for you as the API brings in more advertisers.
